Recently, Origen gathered with investors and partners to celebrate the opening of our upgraded technology center in Bristol, UK. The enhanced facility enables critical capabilities to support priority business objectives including our large-scale demonstration in North Dakota and scale-up work at the Pelican DAC Hub in Louisiana as well as future R&D initiatives to further drive down the cost curve in limestone-based carbon dioxide removal.

The collaboration between the two organizations will advance Origen’s limestone-based direct air capture (DAC) system at 1000 tonnes per year of carbon removal, marking a significant step toward commercialization of the technology.
